Историко-этнографический музей в с. Кокоря Кош-Агачского района

Муниципальное учреждение культуры. Открыт на базе школьного музея в 1966 г. под руководством учителя алтайского языка и литературы К. А. Бидинова. В начале 1980 г. предоставлено отдельное здание, где на основе собраний сформированы экспозиции по археологии, этнографии, истории Кош-Агачского района.
Музей располагает коллекциями одежды и предметов быта, фотодокументальным фондом ветеранов В.О.В., известных людей района. Уникальными являются экспонаты: мумифицированная голова и рука человека, фрагменты лука со стрелами, датируемые гунно-сарматским периодом (II в. до н.э. – IV вв. н.э.), плита с древнетюркской рунической надписью (V–VIII вв. н.э.) и др.
В 2008 г. музею построено новое здание.
